Our Story

Every day, countless stray animals struggle with hunger, injury, abandonment and cruelty — often with no one to help them. Seeing their suffering inspired the founding of Kindroot Foundation: a small, passionate group of animal lovers who believe every creature deserves compassion, care and protection.

Kindness, rooted deeply, can change lives.

Our mission is simple — to provide food, medical care, shelter support, and a chance at a better life for animals in need, across Mumbai and beyond.

We treat every stray we meet the way we'd want a companion of our own treated — with patience, gentleness and zero judgment about where they came from.

Matching rehabilitated animals with screened, loving forever homes.

Awareness Campaigns

Community education on humane treatment, feeding etiquette and rescue reporting.

Sterilization (TNR)

Trap-Neuter-Release programs to humanely manage stray populations.
